Posting one thing I’m thankful for every day just isn’t my style, but I’m plenty thankful, so I’m posting them all at once. Here goes.

  1. Pandora, which keeps me entertained and energized throughout the day.
  2. The Seahawks for WINNING!
  3. The instructors and trainers at Crunch and my gym buddy Navani, who make getting sweaty fun.
  4. Gatito, who makes me a little less selfish with my time.

Kitteh is done with Fun radio. Can we listen to Ne-Yo now?"
Kitteh is done with Fun radio. Kitteh find Ne-Yo”
  5. Steak, meatballs, chicken, peanut butter and hummus, which give me the protein I need.
  6. Twitter, which has connected me to like-minded people.
  7. New York City, which challenges me.
  8. My parents who share their movie account (among other nice things).
  9. A job that pays the bills. It’s not perfect, but it’s nice to know I can make the rent, feed myself and have some fun.
  10. Friends who like to keep moving and challenge me.
  11. My health. I never take it for granted.
  12. The ability to read and educate myself. I had an English teacher in high school who used to say something along the lines of, “when people stop learning after high school, it shows.” Sure does.
  13. Good doctors who help me recognize what’s right in front of my face.
  14. Nolan whose cute pictures I can flip through the entire train ride home.
  15. Kindle ebooks, the perfect way to read on the train.
  16. The friends who have no problem telling me to shut it when I’m being dumb.
  17. My ears that are really good at the overheard in NY game.
  18. Ne-Yo for making my music-listening so much sweeter.
  19. Zog Sports for giving me a team, some new skills and new friends.
  20. The friends who insist I can’t leave New York.
  21. The friends who make me miss Seattle so much it hurts.
  22. My strength, which I work on every day and never take for granted.
  23. The NSA, CIA, FBI, NYPD, NYFD, POTUS and everyone who keeps us safe.
  24. Planes, trains and subways that connect me to the people I love.
  25. Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangout, Facebook and an old-fashioned phone call.
  26. My impressive collection of mittens and gloves.
  27. Having all my marbles. I’m glad I’m not the one screaming nonsense on the sidewalks.
  28. Isabella and Adam who make me laugh with their funny stories and imaginations. “Candace, I ate a live spider for $10!” “I like kitty-cat bars.” (Kit-Kat)
  29. Riki, Tara, Barbara, James, Navani, Betsy, Lora and all my pals who have gone through their share of rain storms but still have hope and sometimes remind me to get over myself.
  30. NPR, New York Times and all the news outlets that still report news.
