“Help! Help!” I heard a voice from my 3-year-old nephew’s closet. It was my dad calling out from my phone.
Let me back up: Adam was taking Grandpa on a Face Time tour of his newly decorated bedroom. He decided to talk to Grandpa in the closet, then said, “Grandpa, tell me if you get scared,” before running down the hallway.
I retrieved my dad from the closet and brought the phone back to Adam. He talked to Grandpa on the way downstairs then handed off the phone to his sister. A little while later, my sister asked if Grandpa was still on the phone.
“I’m just sitting over here in the corner,” Dad called. One of the kids grabbed the phone and started talking again.
Good thing they didn’t really lose Grandpa.
