Formerly personal struggles go public

My name is Candace and I have/had/was once treated for anxiety disorder. I’ve learned to control my tendencies through positive thinking, exercise, yoga, etc.

My dear friend Nicole – well I call her that, everyone else calls her Coley – is a health writer and is writing an article about women living with mental health issues, such as anxiety, mood, psychotic, eating, personality or impulse control disorders. You can email if you have a story to share.

She’ll change identifying details, if you prefer. But as someone who has openly shared my story and struggles on this blog, I highly recommend that we all go public. It’s therapeutic to know we’re not the only ones. But everyone has to do what is best for herself.
