Hurts so good!

I’ve been doing my workouts! I just wanted you all to know that since I announced my intentions here.

It’s not been easy. I kinda have a lot going on in my life right now, but I’m making it a priority. I was excited my hotel in Fort Worth had a fitness center, so I managed two strong workouts with treadmill and weights. And my muscles are responding! I was sitting at work the other day and realized my arms weren’t sore. I wanted to drop right there and do some pushups and ab work to make them sore!

Today was my second boot camp session. This one was in Central Park, but not kettle bell like the last one. It involved jumping up on a park bench, rolling around in the grass and sprints. I’m good at the sprints, OK at the ab work and terrible at the jumping and push-ups. My classmates were awesome. I hope I end up with this group some more – though I fear I won’t because I usually have school Thursday nights, so this was a one-off.

It’s about to get trickier to schedule my sessions in. I have Isabella Day on Saturday, I’m working Sunday. I have a friend coming into town Monday and Tuesday and class Thursday, so I’ll have to get creative and maybe forego some naps or laundry, but I’m determined. At least three workouts per week!

Gooooo team!

Let's talk it out
